We are delighted to hear that we will once again receive financial support from the National Lottery Community Fund. The £37,406 we receive from this fund along with a grant from the One Council Partnership Funding (run by East Lothian Council) helps fund the costs of staffing the garden for the next two years.
The money we receive through the National Lottery Community Fund for the next two years is vital to maintaining the garden that we all love for the benefit of our wonderful community here in East Lothian.
We regularly welcome many community groups – teachers with small groups of pupils, walkers, ageing well groups, families with young children (its a great flat surface to try out your first bike!) .
We also welcome a small but mighty army of volunteers who enjoy the health and wellbeing benefits of maintaining this beautiful space while learning new skills and meeting new friends.
Much of this is coordinated by our Volunteer Coordinator, Erin, who has quickly become part of the family here at Amisfield.
Huge thanks to the support we receive from the National Lottery Community Fund and the One Council Partnership Funding. We can breathe easy for the next two years, thanks to their support.
We also welcome donations from those of you who enjoy the space. If you feel you can help, head to our donation page – every penny helps and makes a difference!
